it's easy to get personal testimony in support of medical fraud.
most people have back pain sometime in their lives. in almost all cases, it'll go away by itself in a few weeks with no treatment. but throw in some rife treatments during the interim and you have ae posting here about it's wonders.
and it's a typical deflection that proponents of quackery want to turn the table and accuse a medical establishment which requires replicable experimental results of prejudice.
but acupuncture's efficacy was questioned in western medicine for a period of time until studies proved it worked. and it's now an accepted adjunct to other therapy.
so i don't buy the idea that following the advise of a trained medical professional makes me a sheep.
if you needed a haircut, would you go to a holistic barber who does the job with crystals and his aura?
if not, it isn't because you're one of those sheep who believe everything told to them by people with barber poles. it's because you have more sense when it comes to your grooming than you do when it comes to your health.
