If you can watch the head-on angle, about 1/2 of the way down the stretch Diego went to the left-handed whip about three times in a row and she responded by swerving hard to the right. Rider then had to check/steady her to keep her from running into the horse to her outside. At this point it looked like Diego eased up on her the rest of the way home. Half way down the stretch she looked to have a good chance for a 3rd place finish until this happend. She was out of the frame when this happend on the live video feed at the track. Only visible in the head-on. Anyway, good to see "pills", and spend the afternoon with Chuck and Dave. Dave's a soldier for flying in and out and braving the cold for the race on a cold and windy day in Florence, KY
