It is a spiritual belief, and that is what it needs to be taught as. Also, evolutionary biology is a very important aspect of science. Just what are the people in Congress trying to prove? Americans need to give the people in Congress/White House a wake up call, not just on this issue, but many, many others as well. They are over-steeping their boundaries and ignoring the U.S. Constitution in numerous different issues. It is getting scary...they have too much power.
Has anyone else heard anything else on the situation?

KY,
I haven't heard much on this...seems buried somewhere.
There is a big break through happening today.
In a "nut shell", a virus has been attached to certain melanomas (skin cancer) so that the body's immune system can identify and attack the invader. This means that chemo, radiation, surgery, and other strategies are no longer neccessary. This scientist has worked for thirty years to find this.
I hope he receives the Nobel for his efforts.
This gives me hope that scientists, unconstrained by "religious agendas" will help many.
Today's finding has huge implications.
True quests are undeterred by power. The "finding" deminishes the power.
Therein, many gain.
