Granted, the pace was not fast at all (48.06, 1:12.15) but that's what made it so wonderful. The way he completely relaxed on the lead in his first route attempt and still finished well was nice to see. It's not too many horses out there that have the kind of speed he has shown that can also relax and carry it a distance.

You're points all have merit. But C'mon, that last race was totally uncontested from the first 100 yards. There was other speed in that race and nobody came close to challenging him at all.
