I never thought about the fact that maybe CCM didn't want to stretch out; although is sire did, his broodmare sire is Rubiano.........Heck, if CCM is good enough to win or run well in a race like the Met, I'll be thrilled. Too bad there aren't (if it's true that the colt doesn't want to stretch out) many races for him - if his limit is a 1 1/16. If he can go 1 1/8, that would help enormously.
