He could have skipped this spot and run her against Visit in an upcoming race and is going here instead so my gut feeling is that he thinks Ventura is more vulnerable than Visit. I love the angle of playing the longer shot when a trainer already has a strong favorite. Also, she's getting an eight-pound weight break and has some races under her belt and has performed well on this track.
