It is tougher for most of us fans when a horse that has been racing for a number of years goes down. Seemed like he always came running at the end of every race, whether he got there or not.
I didn't realize he had won 3 million dollar races (Pacific Classic, Sunshine Millions Classic, and Virginia Derby).
Here's hoping that HRTV does a special feature on the horse (last year's winner of the Sunshine Millions Classic) on Sunshine Millions Day and the people whose life he touched.
