Wouldn't have mattered what Velazquez decided to do with Roses. Castellano wasn't gonna get in a speed duel in the biggest race of the year.
As it turned out, Roses got a perfect trip and couldn't hang with a superior animal in the stretch.
Spin all you want.....the best horse won that race.
