I fell asleep early after good Christmas food, family, fun and cheer. I'm now awake in the middle of the night for a bit, and tossed in a tape of the 1989 Kentucky Derby ABC telecast.
Chris Antley was interviewed and broadcast as the rider on
Shy Tom, but the Derby chart at KentuckyDerby.com shows
Walter Andress as the finishing rider.

I'm almost to the end of the telecast, and have heard no mention that Antley came off Shy Tom on race day.
Does the chart just have it majorly wrong?
One poignant point of the 1989 telecast is when Charlsie Canty and Jim McKay are holding Pat Valenzuela and Chris Antley up as fine 1989 examples for others that it's possible to overcome drug addiction and resume doing great things in life.
