Bush is old news and yes Obama is going to be held to that standard as is every president or Senate leader in the future. I began to reply in this post to Riot's partisan blaming of th RNC for this story being covered. Like the media wouldnt run with this especially in a slow news period where the financial stories and auto industry peices have grown monotonous. If Bush's chief of staff had 21 taped conversations with a Governor who was accused of selling a Senate seat among other things you dont think that would be a huge story? Hell the guy throwing shoes at Bush has been covered more extensively outside of Chicago than the Blago story. I have no outrage over the situation though i would love to know what Emmanuel and Obama knew about this guy.
