This guy won't go away.

Sentencing for Antoin "Tony" Rezko has been delayed again, with the convicted political fundraiser again negotiating to cooperate in a federal investigation of Gov. Rod Blagojevich and his administration.
U.S. District Judge Amy St. Eve today set a mid-January status date in the Rezko case after lawyers on both sides agreed that his Jan. 6 sentencing date should be scratched.

Rezko lawyer Joseph Duffy declined to comment on any talks between Rezko and prosecutors. "Merry Christmas, everyone," he said to reporters as he left the Dirksen U.S. Courthouse.

Rezko's sentencing has been delayed twice as he works out an agreement to help federal authorities. The criminal complaint brought last week by the government accusing Blagojevich of attempting to sell a U.S. Senate seat appointment indicated that Rezko has given the government damaging information about the governor, and that investigators are working to verify elements of it.
