There's nothing worse than getting a new, inexperienced head coach in there trying to prove himself and making dumb calls like having practice on Thanksgiving. The Pistons aren't a young team full of guys that don't know the game. They are veterans that know what they need to do, know what's important and will get the job done. Several of the players complained about having to practice but they showed up anyway. There could have been 1/5 odds that Iverson wasn't going to show up. The others should have missed it too.

why shouldnt they practice on Thanksgiving? They get the whole summer off and it isnt like Detroit is playing great.
