The big signings have paid off so far and I don't think we have seen the best from Farve. The next two weeks will tell us something, but they are in the position that even if they drop them both that are still in the thick of it. I hate to admit it (as a Jet hater) but their season has a different feel to it then usual. As much as I would love to count them out, you just can't in the wide open AFC (and NFL for that matter).

If they handle the Pats on Thursday, then I'll take down my anti-excitement shields and agree (of course they'd go right back up with a blowout loss to the Titans, but I'm not getting ahead of myself). They've thrown quite a few stinkers this year, but the last two games have been near perfect. The difference has been the improved play of the offensive line. Favre hasn't been sacked the last two weeks, and TJ is running all over everyone. If that continues and the defense can keep causing turnovers, we can be pretty good. Fingers crossed for Thursday.
