33rd Running of the Queen Elizabeth II Commemorative Cup (G1)
Training Report of Foreign Entrees
France's Tres Rapid and Germany's Fair Breeze arrived safely at NaritaAirport on Thursday, November 6 to compete in the Queen Elizabeth II Commemorative Cup (G1) to be held on Nov. 16.
Tres Rapid landed first at 7 a.m. and was transported to the JRAHorseracingSchoolQuarantineCenter in ShiroiCity at 9:43 a.m. Fair Breeze landed at NaritaAirport at 10:38 a.m. and arrived at the QuarantineCenter at 13:30 p.m.

"The horse is in fine condition. She'll go to the track tomorrow and have some light training. We hope to run well and get great experience. We hope to answer everyone's expectations."

"She is in good condition, but after a 22-hour trip, she seems to be a bit nervous. She will not run the tracks tomorrow. We'll walk her around and check her condition."

TRES RAPIDE (IRE, f3, bay)
-cantered 1 1/2 laps (2,000m) [fastest time; approximately. 15 seconds/furlong] on 1,400m track (left-handed), ridden by L. Gadbin from 7:00 to 7:22
-underwent barrier test (passed)
“We’ve been concentrating on getting her relaxed, and since things are working as planned, we’re intending to start to prepare her more for Sunday’s race. Tomorrow we’ll work her a bit stronger than today.

FAIR BREEZE (GER, m5, dark bay or brown)
- cantered 8 furlongs (1,600m) [fastest; approximately 17 seconds/furlong] on 1,400m track, ridden by S. Hofer from 7:00 to 7:12
- underwent barrier test (passed)
“Everything is going smoothly. She was relaxed at the barrier test – anyway she’s never had any problems at the gate so there’s nothing to worry about.
After discussing the plans with our trainer, we’ve decided that her gallop will be on Friday the 14th at Kyoto Race Course (initially planned for the 13th).
