This was just plain stupid on so many levels. I realize what was on the line here Kev with the season ending and his card for next year but if he ruins the operative sight by swinging viciously at a drive, and bleeds to death the surgeon will be blamed when it is the patient deciding what activity he can participate in.
If the surgeon okay'd this he will be contacted by his local medical board to inform him to come explain as his license is being reviewed. Sometimes heroic is another way of saying stupid.
