He played all those years for Ditka... I think he's using some of Ditka's schtick. Contrived? I don't know... but it certainly got everyone's attention.
We'll see how much effect it had by seeing how well the Niners play for the rest of the season. If he can get everyone on board, he's not a horrendous head coach. He might just burn out, like Ditka did....
