he'd have been a great president. i really think both parties nominated the best candidates available.

I think it is deeper than that....

He has personal ethics that are lacking in many or most of the present day politicians.

As far as Obama - I would say the jury is still out. His words are inspiring - but it will be his actions that will make or break him. Up to now we have very little evidence of his actions.

I am willing to give him a chance - but I must say I have reservations.
