Statitiscally, I can't argue your point (i dont know the stats outside of what you posted).
But...
They were at home. Basically you were putting your faith in one play from the two yard line instead of believing that your team could either stop the opposing team at home or score a winning drive.
If it doesnt work? Do you think they merely lose that game?
