if the RedSox made the playoffs and got hot and beat the Yankees
then what would really be the point of the 5-game sweep in Boston?
that's my beef with the wild-card, when both teams are making the playoffs
the only difference is home field, and it's really not that huge a difference
as we have seen wild card teams advance and win the world series
I'd like to see the Yanks, Tigers, Twins, and A's prevail,
doesn't matter much in the other circuit, if forced, I'd pick the Dodgers
