no doubt about it !!! this state is as big a fan of the brewers as the packers, when they put a competitive team on the field. outside of this state some would not realize this with all the attention football and the packers get.
but all you have to do is go back and watch the 82 brewers run to the ws and that place was as crazy as any day at lambeau. that season county was packed all the time. and thankfully you and i will get to taste a little bit of it again.
hopefully more then the nds.
its going to be tuff but if cc is willing and ready to pitch twice and we get the bats a thumpin and just one other starter can pull out a win(hopefully gallardo on day one looks like our best shot as long as the crew get some hits off hamel) we could take this first round.
i know the critics have all jumped on the phillie bandwagon on espn, and for good reason. but we do the above and get a good bullpen performence the day gallardo pitches if we have a lead, there is no reason we don't have a chance.
very optimistic about our chances here in the first round with 5 games and cc
