I really don't get why this is so hard for people to grasp. Somebody has to have this record. I would rather Citation and Cigar have it (or at least a part of it) than Pepper's Pride have it. When Brett Favre and Peyton Manning were approaching some of Dan Marino's records in recent years, I rooted against them too. It wasn't anything personal against them, I'm just a fan of Dan Marino.
If people want to cheer for her, fine. But some people seem to be under the assumption that everyone simply MUST cheer for her. Well........no, in fact they don't.

Nobody said you must cheer for the horse but you have to admit winning 17 races in a row is very difficult. And the reason I put those other in there was to cheapen the record for you, its not the end all of records. Two other horses that many people have never heard of share the record with them. So its not the the single season home run record is being broken here.
