So if other horses also share in the record, then it doesn't make sense to want Citation to still hold a part of it? What kind of logic is that exactly?
I really don't get why this is so hard for people to grasp. Somebody has to have this record. I would rather Citation and Cigar have it (or at least a part of it) than Pepper's Pride have it. When Brett Favre and Peyton Manning were approaching some of Dan Marino's records in recent years, I rooted against them too. It wasn't anything personal against them, I'm just a fan of Dan Marino.
If people want to cheer for her, fine. But some people seem to be under the assumption that everyone simply MUST cheer for her. Well........no, in fact they don't.
