Now, can you name me an NBA player that isnt at least a marginal athlete? Even one. The truth is...you cant. How about hockey player? Or football player? Or soccer player? Or tennis player?

What other "sport" can you play where you can be drunk before the game is halfway over? In what other "sport" can an "athlete" like John Daly smoke cigarettes like a chimney WHILE he is playing?

What do golfers do that would be deemed an "athletic" endeavor? Do they run? Jump? lift? does it take good reflexes? quickness of foot? heck- they dont even carry their own bags anymore and one guy can even ride around in a cart!!!

Sure, it takes an amazing amount of skill to play golf. I play. But is it any more of a "sport" than archery?
You taken a close look at some baseball players? For that matter, I suspect there are a couple nose tackles in football that I could still outrun...they were showing Warren Sapp last week on the sidelines without his pads and he was as big as the Goodyear Blimp! Is women's baskerball a sport? Lots of women playing there...all could handle anyone on this board. Of course they can't play in the NBA but the WNBA...is it a sport? Is woman's softball a sport? The women's semi-pro football leagues, wanta tell those girls they aren't playing a sport? Is horse racing a sport?
