Lidle gave up what? 5 walks? Boston left 10 guys on base.Halos got to Lidle when he had bad control last week.Anybody moving guys over etc.,and playing percentages can beat Lidle. If they try to start him in the post,he will pay for those walks. He won't be facing a slumping Red Sox team that left 10 men on the bases.Nobody said the Yanks have no pitching. You are in trouble if you don't attack their questionable starters early. The Yanks have good late pitching. You will probably lose if you don't get ahead going to the 7th inning. Some clubs beat the Yanks regularly, and they don't do it by coming from behind late. They do it by having better starters, and attacking guys like Lidle in the 1st 3 innings. Yanks can't go to the pen that early. So,they get behind 2-4 runs, and the opposition adds a couple in the 5th,6th,and can hold the Yanks to about 3 runs total.Do it 3 out of 5 games, and you send the Yanks home in a series.
