It was one thing for McCain to suggest he needed to suspend his campaign(I thought it would just be the debate, but whatever), I could have given him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't just ducking out of the Friday Night Fight...er, debate. Postpone the first debate, then cancel the Palin/Biden debate until an as yet undetermined date, this is the plan from McCain.

What isn't needed is for Obama and McCain to show up to save the day, as either or both of them would be a distraction to getting real bipartisan work done

What the hell does McCain understand about this mess anyways? Would he have us believe he is the only honest man in Washington, therefore needs to be the gatekeeper over these negotiations? If they are all such a greedy, dishonest group, he might as well come out and name 50-100 names of corrupt legislators

I can save you and others like you a lot of frustration and time.
