Having watched Brett Favre since 1992 you are in for a long year. He was a great QB that made his receivers better than they were earlier in his career, but last year his receivers made him look better than his stats showed. There is a reason why the packers moved on. Brett was sacked 15 times all of last year. At the current pace he will be sacked more than twice that this year. The packers protected him well and didn't let him get drilled. The Jets unfortunately don't look like they can do that. They should use Washington more and run some screen passes for him and try and protect favre more; otherwise it will be a sad end to a great career

I don't know Sean..I think you are being a little harsh on Favre's current ablity and not giving enough credit to the fact that he just learned this offense..what...6-7 weeks ago? He can still throw the long ball as well as anyone ( Jennings could have caught that MNF throw against Denver blindfolded LY). Now, if he's going to work as hard as he did last year off the field to learn the system, I think he's still the same QB as LY, unless he gets killed back there, to your point. And with the Jets schedule, that should be good enough for 8-8 or 9-7. Now Hooves and the Favre bashers think he sucked LY and therefore sucks TY, but if the Jets wanted the same QB as the Packers had LY, I think they have him
