While i can understand this i live in a state where through greed & dislike of change the racing industry is dying all trainers & owners are leaving for the other states for the money ,Money drives the industry hence the more money that is bought in the better racing is.
Victoria by turning their races into a world wide product created a hell of alot of money that flowed on to the clubs eg with a million dollar up grade of the track this year & a increase of prize money by 7% I think prizemoney for the cup alone is now up to 5 mil.
So while i can see what you are talking about where the greedy FA's keep the money & it dosnt flow on, you dont want it to end up like here where the races & facilities have become a joke with poor fields & no money because everyone has moved
