She was pressed throughout, ran some very quick fractions and still went on tremendously to be 8 1/2 clear of third.. I hadn't thought about it, but the recap from BRIS (really the Spa report) indicated that Teammate is 0-5 at Belmont............Belmont seems like such a fair track, it's hard to believe that any horse could take such a dislike for it, but I guess she does. I really thought she had it, but I tried not to think about the race too much afterwards because then I'd be frustrated. The whole first part of the race, I was rather annoyed at Pyramid of Love or whatever that longshot's name was. Well, hopefully I will be a tad happier next week after the Travers.
