I wish the headon replay of the race was available on Calracing.
It appears, from the pan shot, that KD is on the wrong lead on the backstretch. And he's clearly rank. Yet another horse that HERCUnelio struggled to restrain.
Of course, that KD has been the beneficiary of PERFECT TRIPS in a number of his previous races didn't escape even the least astute of trip handicappers. As usual, it sucks when you don't get the best trip in the race and you actually have to run.
Imagine that.
