Well, Thank Goodness it weakend before hitting where it did..It really could have been so much worse. I am here in the Beaumont area (the ugly city
) and we have'nt even had any of the rains yet. The wind has picked up some, but not like we had feared a few days ago.
They did issue a mandatory evacuation here yesterday, but I chose to wait until all the traffic died down, then saw that I was'nt going to have to leave after all
