It's probably a "C-level" harness track. The quality of racing isn't especially good -- and, as noted above, a few dollars into the pool can really shake-up the odds.

They closed the seating portion of the grandstand a few years back, so now only the first floor is open [as well as the clubhouse, which does have a second-floor dining room].

Also, they took down the lighting a couple of years ago, so now all the racing is in the afternoon.

All that said, I still go there. It's perfectly fine for watching and wagering on simulcast action. And, what the heck, if you're they're while they're racing, it's still fun to watch and bet on live racing.

It's also only about ten minutes from the beach -- and that's a bonus.
How does the harness racing compare between Scarborough and the Toga racino? I was there one night during opening week and it didn't take much at all to move the tote either.
