Homosexuality is quite common in the animal kingdom (and more so in the wild than in zoos, though why I have no idea). I think it's just another example of "biological exuberance," to borrow the title of the textbook on homosexuality in animals.
In fact, it was the zoo I work at that gave a fertilized egg to a pair of male penguins and they hatched and raised the chick themselves. Animal gay adoption? Tee hee. The Daily Show did a pretty funny segment on it.
If it's between consenting adults, whatever "it" might be, s'all okay with me. I'm just not all that interested in what's going on in anyone's bedroom except my own.
