i make horse racing references fairly often, esp when i talk about an employee as being a sprinter, not a stayer! my office wall has pics of racehorses, and more to come. gotta get 'risk' framed.
or if we walk around the track, it's 2 furlongs a lap. what can i say?
i also will constantly say "so and so" that's a horse name! if it's not a horse name than it's hey, that would make a good horse name....
or someone will want to set up a date to do something...nope, that's _________race day. gotta be home at four. tony knows to always set the DVR at certain times of the year.
bc is the first wknd in november, thank goodness modern gun season doesn't start til the second saturday....
and next year, the day after thanksgiving is lsu vs ark, but i'll be making a wknd of it in LA--head to the racetrack that saturday.
and every horse, i try to figure pedigree from their names...have gotten pretty good at that!!
