You shouldn't be too hard on your club's hitters. Dodger starters are pretty good. The last 12 Dodger games have resulted in 10 good quality efforts from starters. There was one mediocre start, and one bad start.
7/31-good start-LOSS-YOU SCORE JUST 1 RUN=YOU LOSE
8/1-good start-LOSS-YOU SCORE JUST 1 RUN=YOU LOSE
8/2-good start-WIN
8/3-mediocre start-WIN
8/5-good start-LOSS-DUE TO INCREDIBLY STUPID MANAGERIAL ERROR IN EXTRA INNINGS
8/6-horrible start from Lowe in hot/humid St. Louis-LOSS-DOESN'T HELP WHEN MANAGER LEAVES STARTER IN UNTIL HE HAS GIVEN UP 8 RUNS. PROOF THAT TORRE IS A QUARTER ****** (MINIMUM.)
8/7-fantastic start from Kershaw-WIN
8/8-good start(not great, but o.k.)-WIN
8/9-good start-LOSS-BLOWN SAVE
8/10-good startLOSS-BLOWN SAVE
8/11-good quality start(lets face it, Lowe gunna get atleast 1 game over .500 so he can get an overpaid contract from somebody.)-WIN
8/12-good quality start(not great, but found it soon enough to keep it close)-WIN
See, out of 12 games played, they were given 10 quality starts from Dodger pitchers. They were only .500 (6-6) in those games. Why? Well, this is why you see me call them fck ups. I consider losing in extra innings a loss of a 1 run game. So, 5 out of the 6 losses were by 1 run. Two of the losses were losses against good starters=don't hit at all. One was an awful decision by Torre(95% of that loss on 8/5 is on that tea drinka.) Then he lets LOWE stay in until he has given up 8 runs(I put 50% of that loss on 8/6 on Torre for sitting like he watching ballet show.) Then the last 2 losses were blown saves. Broxton's was pathetic. Kuo's was more bad luck than bad pitching, but he was tight, and pitched to contact instead of trying to throw it by people. Dodger's blew multiple chances to give him more runs to work with. This team(and the manager/ p. coach of it) is/are a bunch of fck ups. That's why they are just 1 game over .500
