He ran an okay 1:48.1 off a layoff. I've never seen anyone say he's the second coming of Secretariat.
The horse is the Derby and Preakness winner. They brought him back. Yeah, to protect the shed value, so what? It's August and he's still running. Good! Made the race far more interesting.

i have. after the Florida derby and before the belmont he was touted as one of the greatest ever. Secretariat, Seattle Slew, and Affirmed were all compared to him.
