Besides, there was a horse in Puerto Rico named Camarero whose record rivals Kincsem's 54 wins, racing back in the 1950s. He won 73 of 77, 56 of them in a row. True, he was running against a limited group of horses repeatedly, just like Peppers Pride is, not at what amounted to international G1 level like Kincsem did.
