We checked in at noon, went to our room, noticed it was a little warm in there but hey it's Vegas and it was 112 outside so we didn't pay much attention to it and hit the streets. The next time we came through the doors it was 4 a.m. and it was blazing in there. They had to change out the ac motor in our room and as they were doing so, there was a knock on our door and it was a bellman with the cart and the keys to our new room. We started with the 3rd level room and got bumped literally 5 levels. It was just over 1500 square feet.....next time though, we'll probably stay at the Venetian.
If you can get Wynn for a lower price than the Venetian (which you normally should), it's better... although Venetian's very good too. When I go, I normally stay 1 night on the north end, then the rest at NY on the south end. I know those 3rd level rooms at NY well. Tip for you... when you check in at NY, ask for a corner room (they'll put you in a room with 2 different views, one of MGM, other of north or south strip).
