Alan Foreman, a Maryland lawyer who represents horseracing clients, said that Rose contacted him on Tuesday night for representation in the case. Foreman said that he only had a brief conversation with Rose, and that the two will decide on a legal strategy later on Wednesday.
"I saw the film, so I understand what we're dealing with," Foreman said. "It was an accident, and it was not done on purpose. No one feels worse about this than Jeremy Rose."
