I'd imagine a War Emblem-type end to his career. First, a paid public workout doubling as a "return to glory" in cahoots with some publicity-hungry track (Suffolk, Arlington, Monmouth?) in a preconceived setup of a race ala the '02 Haskell followed by a definitive failure to achieve "greatness" when getting bounced around and crushed in the BC Classic after finally facing a quality-laden field.
The icing on the cake will be if his owners' narcissistic greed get the better of them after a BC loss and, desperate to get a win versus his elders, further humiliate him in the Cigar Mile, the way Coronado's Quest's connections (ie the evil Claiborne Farm junta) exposed his rather modest capabilities (not that he couldn't have improved from 3 to 4) in the final 3 races of his career.
Or he'll just never run again...
