What I don't like was the last time a harness trainer and driver got caught -- there was a celebration that they handed out some massive fine and a 10 year plus suspension. I think the driver was back in about a year, and the trainer is still out but competing back in his home state. Again, I don't remember the details as to why and how this developed.

A lot of the harness trainers train off of farms and training centers therefore never file stall apps. A priavtely owned track would have a whole lot more leeway in refusing entries than a govt (kind of) run track like the Meadowlands. I believe that a judge ruled the penalties to be excessive and reduced them in that other case????
