wow. but, pat forde is right. dutrow talked a lot of trash, and trashed a lot of other peoples' prized horses. i think zito was trying to be very p.c. in his interviews yesterday pre-race. when he said he thought he'd get a pass if he won this one, i knew EXACTLY what he meant by that.
dutrow thumbed his nose at every other owner, trainer and horse coming up to yesterday, and every trainer, owner and horse beat him. that's karma, absolutely.

when delp talked up bid, some people thought he went too far, and when he lost at belmont, some thought it was payback-but bid was one of the best, if not the best ever-he only lost once more after that belmont, to a tc winner. he proved delp right. i don't think brown will be doing his trainer the same favor.
