Hofmans was the trainer of Touch Gold. He would have no reason to lie to my trainer in a private conversation. Hofmans said that the horse grabbed a quarter in the Preakness.
Chuck could do a 100x better job than me explaining the difference between grabbing a quarter vs. a quarter crack.
