Where did you get your information? Is Hoffmans on the up and up? Touch Gold tore apart his hoof when he stumbled out of the gate at The Preakness, the same blacksmith that worked on him prior to the Belmont is the same one that worked on Big Brown for this Belmont. He has been quoted in numerous publications that what Touch Gold had was far worser than what Big Brown had. Anyway someone is not being completely truthful.
