what kind of logic leads you to conclude that the sport needs to 'pack it in' if big brown loses today? the sport is bigger than any one horse.
granted, big brown on paper looks the best. but oh, how many times i've seen a horse who dominated in the first two go down at belmont. big brown should win. i hope personally he does not. and i bet you belmont/nyra hopes so too! why?!? you think they'll be packing in 120k + next year if the tc gets won today? thrill is in the
chase, not the winning.
besides, i think big brown would be an undeserving winner. granted, that won't make him lose. but no way he's on, let alone close, to the same level as the last four tc winners.
