Why are you asking me? How the hell would I know? I will tell you this, I'm very happy that he is safe and sound and will be racing in the Woodward. I would have to think that Pletcher is as puzzled as anyone else and probably moreso after the bloodwork came back fine.
How would I be able to explain it? I, like anyone else, have not the slightest idea and would not be able to even hazard a guess. Hes obviously tons better than that and with no physical problem to explain his performance, and accounts by clockers I trust that he was doing very well before the race, I have not the slightest idea. being wide is certainly no excuse, and he only stalked a moderate pace so thats no excuse either. I don't havea clue to be honest with you, andif his trainer doesnt have a clue, how the hell would I have a clue?
