He supposedly looked terrible in training recently compared to the winter, which may explain skipping the Preakness, adding blinkers, and the head cocked all the way to the right through the final sixteenth today.
Next Sunday, highly touted CA 2yos (with slow numbers), Dixie Chatter and Wind's Legacy return in the 7f Laz Barrera at Hollywood. Both have been smoking in recent workouts. Should be an interesting matchup with the steady if slow Salute The Sarge in there as a gauge to see if the two comebackers have improved any.
