I'll grant you that he ran well late in his last start at Keeneland. However, he beat what was a pretty weak, restricted (for 3YOs only) NW2X field, and the final time of his race (1:44.1 for 8.5F) does not compare all that favorably to the final time (1:37.1 for a mile) run by 3YO fillies, albeit nice ones, about an hour later. Prussian and Cannonball are much more talented than anything he faced in that allowance race.
