With regards to Bravo in the haskell, I would sure as hell hope he's riding hard for 2nd. Do you know what 2nd pays in the Haskell? It pays $200,000. His cut in $20,000. He'll make more money running 2nd in the Haskell than he'll make for winning any other race the entire year. I'm not surprised he was trying hard to get 2nd.

You are clearly a better race watcher than myself and have been doing it much longer than I. I don't have access to a replay, but if you say he didn't quit, so be it. Just looked to me while watching that he was clearly not giving as much as the other two.
