Jeez.
I think he likes me.

It is not news that Fox News puts a
wonderful light on the War when things
are going well, and then diverts when things
are bad. And things are bad right now. So what
did you expect?

The war is not going so great since the "Iraqi
Government's" little military foray.
But that was not the subject
of my post. I was looking for some sort of discussion
about the lack of personal responsibility, that imo
eats away at the fabric of our society. I did not get
this story from Fox. NY times. And of course they
had a video link.

I see this as an example of a signficant shift that has been
taking place for a good while now. I would like
to know if I am imagining trends, and if I am not,
why have we seen this trend.

Ex. We got to go on field trips to all sorts of
places when I was in school. We got to do
some learning outside of the class.
Teachers in my
district are basically told, "dont go anywhere,
the district is liable." Keep the kids inside in the class.
Their parents will sue the crap out of us if anything
happens. So as a consequence no more amusement
park physics or anything like this anymore.
No figuring acceleration of a
roller coaster, etc... Nothing real outside class.
This is only in my
small world.

Just wondering how widespread. And this little ordeal
in the original post is an indication of the blame game
that imo, is rot. And not helplful to the country as a whole.

Sorry you have to work out in front of TV.
Outside can be a nice place.
