Compared to whom? If memory serves me, he won two grade one's (Dream Rush) and a grade two (High Finance) for these connections last year. I don't have statistics in front of me, but Violette's strike rate over the past few years has consistently been between 15-20%. It's comments like these that reinforce the erroneous perception that there are only a handful of trainers that know what to do with a decent horse.
